Business Planning and Consolidations (BPC)<\/strong><\/a><\/h1>\n

Using Excel \u201cFORMS\u201d to provide end user initiated function selection capability: <\/p>\n

Steps <\/p>\n

  1. Form the Excel menu View>Toolbars>Forms   The forms toolbar will appear.\n
  2. To create a user selectable \u201cbutton\u201d, select the form that looks like a grey rectangle.\n
  3. Create the button by moving your cursor to the desired location and trace out the location of the button.  You can always resize and reposition the button at a latter date by access the object\u2019s Format Control.\n
  4. When you create the button, you will be asked to identify a macro for the object.  The macro is the excel program that will be executed when the button is clicked.\n
  5. The following macros are typically used within BPC applications:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

               MNU_ETOOLS_REFRESH     <\/p>\n

               [Same as “REFRESH WORKBOOK” <\/p>\n

               MNU_ESUBMIT_REFRESH    <\/p>\n

              [Same as “SEND AND REFRESH SCHELDULE”]   <\/p>\n

    1. Edit the text of the new button by right clicking on the button outline and selecting  \u201cEdit Text\u201d from the context menu:  \n
